| Middle Creek runs into the Catoctin Creek just below our take out at the Junction of RT 40 and Rt 17. We were expecting Middle Creek to be an easy Class 3 run. It turned out to be a little more exciting with at least one class 5, a class 4 and another rapid close to a class 4. Turned out that there was a gorge that couldn't be scouted see from the road. |
